Our initial meeting will focus on exploring the options available within your budget and will provide us an understanding of your priorities. We’ll discuss style, size and possible locations for your new home.

Designing Your Home

We’ll start with a concept meeting where you will meet the team of designers and construction experts who will build your home. We will present one or more of our concepts or start from scratch to create a custom floor plan that is uniquely yours. Our team will guide you through the process to develop a plan that is tailored to your needs.

Our in-house drafting services allow us to tailor your needs in a timely and efficient manner. At this time, we require a $1,000 deposit to reserve your lot, which will be applied to your purchase price.

Pricing Your Home

Together, we will create a specification sheet, which will itemize the detailed products to be included in your custom home. The spec sheet and the floor plan will be used to gather bids to ensure the house meets your requirements. We will present you a contract price based on these bids. We will work hard to fulfill your requirements while staying in your price range.

Allowances for flooring, cabinets, appliances, countertops and other selections will be presented through bids to support your selections.

Signing Up

Once plans and pricing are approved, the next step is to sign a purchase agreement. A 10 percent down payment will be due at this time, less the $1,000 lot deposit previously paid.

Construction

From pouring the foundation to the finishing touches, Advance Homes will supervise every phase of the construction process. Additionally, our on-staff designer will be available to assist you in making selections for flooring, cabinets, paint, etc.

Closing

As the home nears completion, both parties will set a firm closing date. At the time of closing, the remaining 90 percent of the contract price will be due on your home. Through this process, we will work closely with your mortgage lender to ensure a smooth closing.
